Establishment of the Academic Support Unit
The Academic Support Unit was established as part of the implementation of quality assurance and accreditation systems at the college to achieve the following objectives:
- Providing exceptional support and care for outstanding and talented students at the college, affirming the state's policy of nurturing this distinguished elite.
- Caring for outstanding students, guiding and assisting them to continue excelling, and supporting their excellence morally, psychologically, and financially.
- Focusing on talented students, supporting their creativity, and helping them bring their ideas to fruition.
- Guiding and assisting academically struggling students, monitoring their progress to improve their academic performance, and helping them overcome obstacles.
- Addressing cases of academic delay, studying the causes, and offering appropriate solutions and assistance.
- Helping students with special needs to achieve academic success, adapt socially and psychologically, and addressing their problems to find solutions.
- Assisting students in discovering their abilities and interests, defining their goals, and developing their potential to benefit the college and society.
- Creating a suitable academic and social environment for distinguished students to showcase and develop their skills, helping them compete in the local and regional job market.
- Establishing a framework for scientific, cultural, and social cooperation between faculty members and students at the college, facilitating positive academic and social interaction to leverage faculty members' educational experiences and scientific capabilities in assisting struggling students and supporting outstanding ones.
- Providing the necessary academic advising to students to help them progress through their academic studies and complete their programs smoothly and easily.
- Monitoring students academically, helping them achieve their studies efficiently, and supporting the university and college efforts in providing a sound educational environment to graduate students qualified for the job market.
- Utilizing the exceptional educational and scientific expertise of the college's faculty members according to global trends and modern educational methods in higher education to create a healthy and psychologically sound environment for students, ensuring the strengthening of bonds between faculty members and students and creating an outstanding academic and social atmosphere.
- Establishing communication channels in cooperation with the college leadership, academic departments, and various administrations to support the efforts of the Academic Support Office in assisting students to find solutions to their problems and supporting their ambitions towards development, providing an integrated system for the academic environment to practice an ideal university life within a framework of cooperation among all college staff.
- Developing and properly utilizing students' talents and skills, while enhancing their work skills, commitment, and behavioral and academic discipline, encouraging them to excel academically and make the most of their available potentials.
- Preparing students to fully integrate and adapt to the university environment, providing them with experience and scientific advice on organizing their time and making the best use of it to achieve the best study and learning outcomes.

- Organizing conferences, seminars, and training courses for college students to discover talents and develop skills.
- Preparing new students to understand university life and its study system, spreading awareness about the college's regulations, vision, and mission among students to learn about and benefit from them.
