Objectives:
Producing seedlings of various crops immune to infections by inoculating them during the germination stage.
Achievements:
The center is currently producing tomatoes and peppers at the college farm using organic farming methods and biological control, free from chemical pesticides and fertilizers.
Marketing sea bream eggs of the Mediterranean Sea at a price of five Egyptian pounds per gram after the embryo's death, and eight Egyptian pounds per gram without embryo death. The quantity marketed during the period from 7/12/2009 to 18/1/2010 was 641.5 grams, totaling 3207.5 Egyptian pounds.
The center serves as a technical consulting unit in all fields of the Faculty of Agriculture by receiving problem submissions and redirecting them to the responsible specialized department.
