- The college is located in an area with significant agricultural activity, as well as some industrial activities in the governorate that are based on agriculture and a business community in five different governorates.

- There are numerous academic and scientific cooperation relationships through bilateral agreements and research projects between the college and distinguished scientific and research institutes and other executive bodies in Egypt and abroad in the fields of teaching, scientific research, and training. These collaborations provide access to advanced expertise, including awarding academic degrees to teaching assistants who receive scholarships or scientific channels, and offering programs for exchanging expertise locally and internationally among faculty members and their assistants, as well as providing field training opportunities for students. Additionally, there is excellent communication between faculty members and their assistants to engage with the scientific and international community through agreements with United Nations agencies, European Union countries, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Academy of Scientific Research, and other entities.
- The college has an experimental farm in Ismailia and another in Sinai, providing diversity in agricultural research under environmental conditions that reflect those covering the Canal and Sinai region, contributing significantly to research that serves the environment surrounding the college and helps achieve its mission.
- There are a large number of faculty members and their assistants with diverse scientific backgrounds both locally and internationally, contributing to a variety of experiences and the transfer of knowledge among all, as well as several faculty members who have received local and international scientific awards.
- There is a distinguished scientific journal that publishes scientific research produced by faculty members both inside and outside the college.
- The college has a good infrastructure to support the teaching and learning process, such as a modern and well-equipped library connected to the digital library, and good infrastructure of lecture halls, student laboratories, and updated research laboratories according to the college's capabilities.
- There are newly established study programs such as the Agricultural Engineering and Agricultural Business and Project Management program, which have helped increase the number of students enrolling in the college during the current period. Additionally, the Food Safety program, which is the newest program established in 2014, is taught in English with unique fees and operates on a credit-hour system.
- The college's special units help reduce the cost of completing practical lessons for some courses, thereby reducing the financial burden of completing practical lessons. These units also serve as training units for students during the academic year and summer training.
- There is an educational museum in the Plant Protection Department.
