Vice-dean word
My dear postgraduate students,
Esteemed colleagues and faculty members of the college,
In line with the great attention the state gives to scientific research as one of the pillars of comprehensive development, Suez Canal University has been keen on the scientific research system in various branches of science to reach the highest global rankings. This attention has extended to all university faculties, including the Faculty of Agriculture, to secure a prominent position among colleges at the local, regional, and international levels. Since its establishment in 1976, the Faculty of Agriculture has always strived to provide outstanding and competitive scientific services to postgraduate students, making them aware of the importance of scientific research in the agricultural field. It adopts creative ideas and innovative theses to move forward towards knowledge enhancement and systematic application of research results, a crucial step towards achieving integrated development in agriculture and related fields, and opening new horizons for agriculture based on solid technological and scientific foundations, which helps in the distinguished development of our national economy.
All staff in the postgraduate and research sector at the college have been keen to overcome obstacles, provide various opportunities, and create an appropriate research environment. This collective effort aims to enhance the college's ranking and research indicator by encouraging distinguished research and promoting the publication of research results in international scientific journals with high impact factors in prestigious international publishing houses. In the postgraduate and research sector, we pledge to continue providing all support and encouragement to all postgraduate students, diploma students, and researchers. We aim to offer a distinguished working environment that helps them accomplish their research work through continuous training in scientific research methodologies and skills, always adhering to research ethics and preserving the intellectual property rights of each researcher. We will also strive to provide seminars and workshops necessary to inform researchers about how to obtain research funding from local, regional, and international sources, aiding in building a distinguished research system, improving the infrastructure of laboratories and classrooms, and establishing local and international cooperation agreements between the college's various programs and other research academies. This effort aims to create the necessary integration between different specializations, guiding scientific research more accurately to solve problems related to the surrounding environment in the Suez Canal and Sinai region, thus helping to improve and develop various systems in the agricultural, engineering, and industrial sectors.
All these aspirations and hopes will undoubtedly help in advancing the scientific research system at the college, enhancing the scientific ranking of our beloved universities in international competition and globally across various fields.
We pray to Almighty God for success and prosperity for all postgraduate students and researchers at the Faculty of Agriculture, hoping to assist them in achieving their scientific and strategic goals.
