Vision

The library aspires to be the main source of intellectual and civilized knowledge by depending on its resources in science and culture as well as its human capabilities and support services in the advancement of knowledge and research. It also contributes to the revival of the scientific research movement and the development of the educational process.

Mission
Supporting the educational process and scientific research through:

  • Providing the latest sources of information in all its forms to meet the needs of the faculty, researchers, and students.
  • Addressing, organizing, arranging, and broadcasting these resources to the beneficiaries in addition to other library services according to a methodology based on high office standards and modern practices.
  • Providing continuous training and learning opportunities for beneficiaries through continuous education and training to benefit from information sources.
  • Promoting and activating cooperation between the library and the libraries of other faculties through the General Libraries Administration.
  • Providing the largest possible number of information sources to the beneficiaries.
  • Training the library staff to ensure the provision of services in a manner that meets the needs of the faculty, using a methodology based on training and education, and following up on developments in the field of library and information science.
  • Using information and communications technology in all library activities and services, to fulfill the aspirations of the faculty and university and keep pace with global developments in the field of organizing, storing, retrieving, broadcasting, and making information available to all students, researchers, and faculty members.
