The Social Solidarity Fund aims to achieve social solidarity for students in various forms, such as social care or loans, and to work on solving the problems that students face which hinder their continuation in their studies due to insufficient financial income, and to contribute to providing services for students.
Assistance is provided in the form of: payment of tuition fees, cash assistance, notes and textbooks, in-kind assistance (sweaters, clothing), food coupons from the General Administration for Student Welfare, and medical treatment and prosthetic devices.
Required documents and papers to obtain assistance:
- A copy of the identity document for both the student and the guardian (with the original for verification).
- A document confirming the income or revenue of the student's guardian (a salary statement, a pension certificate, an agricultural ownership statement for farmers, or a letter from social security if employed in the private sector).
- A medical certificate indicating the illness of the student's guardian and their inability to work.
- A copy of the death certificate of the student's guardian (in case of death).
- In case there are other siblings in educational stages, a document proving this must be provided.
- A social research report from the social unit associated with the student's family residence (regarding the student's social status) when requesting assistance for the first time.
- A declaration or certificate that the mother is not employed by the government or the private sector.
- A report from the university's medical administration to determine the student's disability percentage (in case of disability).
The required documents should be submitted to the student welfare office at the faculty.
