The IT service unit at the Faculty of Agriculture SCU is committed to the following duties:

To activate information technology in the faculty.
To operate and activate e-mail addresses for students and academic staff members.
To supervise on faculty’s electronic gate.
To use information technology in serving the educational process and scientific research.
To train faculty employees and academic staff members on using information technology and communication.
To offer technical support for the users of electronic systems such as Al-Farouq, AlFaraby, and Ibn Al-Haitham.
To enhance informational infrastructure.
To follow up on network technical use and provide technical support for all users.
To provide a wireless network in faculty’s open areas available for students and staff members.
To solve all malfunctions in devices and networks. Coordinate with the university’s information technology, administrative information system center, e-learning center, libraries digitalization project, and training project.
Supervise and update computer and printer maintenance.
To install original license operation systems programming of library works.
